LAST SQUADRON VETERANS

When the "Association of 198 Squadron RAF Pilots & Grounds Crews" was formed in 2001 there were believed to be at least twenty two surviving veterans from the Squadron world-wide. Sadly, at the time of writing this in 2009, there is now thought to be only four surviving. (One in Canada, one in Australia, and two in the United Kingdom)

Possibly there may be other Squadron veterans still alive who are not known about but given the extensive enquiries carried out by the "Association" before its disbandment, and to some extent more recently by us at "198 Archives", it would seem unlikely now.
